Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Specialist

Full-Time Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
$21.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience

Position Overview
Zibiz Corporation, an established technology company in Hauppauge, NY, is seeking a dependable Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Specialist.
If you have warehouse experience but are looking for a cleaner, more professional and less physically demanding environment, this may be an excellent fit.
Our facility is clean and climate-controlled, and we primarily handle specialized, lightweight technical products. This is not a high-volume distribution center or heavy industrial warehouse. There is no routine heavy pallet handling or forklift operation.
The position combines shipping and receiving with inventory management, quality inspection and computer-based ERP processing. Accuracy, organization and attention to detail are more important to us than simply moving products quickly.
Primary Responsibilities
Shipping & Order Fulfillment
โ€ข Pick and prepare customer orders accurately
โ€ข Verify part numbers, quantities and order documentation
โ€ข Carefully pack technical products for shipment
โ€ข Prepare shipping labels and documentation
โ€ข Process shipments and pick tickets in our ERP system
โ€ข Maintain accurate records of outgoing shipments
Receiving & Inventory
โ€ข Receive incoming products, materials and deliveries
โ€ข Verify quantities and part numbers against documentation
โ€ข Inspect received products for damage or discrepancies
โ€ข Enter receiving transactions accurately
โ€ข Organize and maintain inventory locations
โ€ข Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory
โ€ข Research and report inventory discrepancies
Quality Control
โ€ข Perform visual inspection of incoming and outgoing technical products
โ€ข Verify product configuration and labeling
โ€ข Assist with basic quality-control and product-testing procedures
โ€ข Identify and report damaged, incorrect or nonconforming products
โ€ข Maintain inspection documentation
Systems & Documentation
โ€ข Enter inventory, receiving and shipping transactions into ERP software
โ€ข Maintain accurate inventory and transaction records
โ€ข Use Microsoft Excel and other business software
โ€ข Prepare routine reports and documentation
โ€ข Assist with maintaining warehouse procedures and work instructions
