Position: Shipping / Receiving
Work Location: Braselton, GA 30517
Pay rate: $19.50/hr
Duration: 3+ Months role with high chances of extension/conversion
Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Dress Code: casual
 
Job Description:
  • Reviews shipping orders. Locates product in warehouse.
  • Loads/unloads material onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves by hand.
  • Prepares inventory for shipment. Properly bands and shrink warps pallets and attach shipping labels.
  • Processes shipping orders using computerized shipping system.
  • Loads and unloads trucks Maintains warehouse inventory on racks in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Trains lower-level Shippers/Receivers as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Qualifications:
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education/Experience:
  • One year as a Shipper/Receiver or equivalent experience.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
 
Other Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to use the required personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Must be a trained and qualified forklift operator, with current/valid license.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Ability to use basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, and counting.
  • Ability to read and understand all safety operating procedures and to use all safety features of the equipment.
  • Knowledge of products manufactured or warehoused at that plant.
 
Physical Demands:
  • Requires ability to walk, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend at waist, and climb ladders or equipment.
  • Maximum unassisted lift – 50 lbs. Average lift less than 25 lbs.
