Action Research Corporation (ARC), a division of HEICO Corporation, is currently looking for a first shift Shipping / Receiving & Inventory Specialist to support our growing customer demand. ARC, located in Greer SC, is an FAA-Certified Repair Station specializing in electrical and mechanical accessories for gas turbine engines, airframes and landing gear components. Applicants for this position must have superior work ethic and be able to perform required duties with little to no supervision. Punctual and regular attendance is a requirement of this job. Team Member must also comply with the company drug and alcohol program. The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the job duties listed below:
Job Duties:
  • Examine contents of all inbound shipments. Verify corresponding paperwork and accurately record shipment in ERP system. Communicate any discrepancies in paperwork or any damage to inbound shipments.
  • Prepare documents and physical inventory for work orders.
  • Ensure that all outgoing shipments have been processed and packaged to satisfy customer requirements. Records of all outgoing need to be prepared in a timely manner and maintained accurately.
  • Organize and create locations for stock items to best utilize shelf space and allow efficient picking, counting, tracking and handling of parts.
  • Maintain control and accuracy of inventory by monitoring all inventory activities relating to stock needs, quality issues and inbound/unused/extra/R&D materials.
  • Responsible for ensuring physical inventory matches inventory in ERP system.
  • Participate in quarterly and annual inventory counts.
  • Responsible for making recommendations to management regarding continuous improvement of department work processes and operating procedures.
  • Must maintain a high quality level of work that is appropriate for internal and external interaction.
  • Balance workload with minimal supervision.
  • Keep work space, inventory cage and surrounding areas clean and organized.
  • Must be able to work well and communicate with team members in a professional, efficient, clear, and concise manner.

Education/Experience:

  • Previous experience using MRP / ERP systems is a plus.
  • Experience with UPS/FedEx and other online shipping programs
  • Experience with ACE and international shipping - preferred
