Job description

New Tech Global is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a manufacturing client in Houston, TX. This position is responsible for supporting shipping, receiving, inventory control, purchasing, and logistics activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Overview
• Oil & Gas industry experience preferred
• Experience with ERP/Inventory systems preferred (Global Shop, Microsoft AX/Dynamics, SAP, TDS, or similar)
• 1-5 years of recent Shipping & Receiving, Warehouse, Inventory, or Logistics experience
Responsibilities
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments and related documentation
• Match materials to purchase orders, work orders, job travelers, and other internal documentation
• Maintain accurate receiving, inventory, and shipping records
• Generate and process purchase orders as needed
• Coordinate shipments with customers, vendors, freight carriers, and internal departments
• Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and tracked
• Upload and maintain shipping and receiving documentation
• Communicate product and shipment status to operations, sales, and customers
• Support inventory control, purchasing, and warehouse operations
• Assist with customer returns, freight scheduling, and logistics coordination
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Participate in on-call support as required
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Previous Shipping & Receiving, Warehouse, Inventory Control, or Logistics experience
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems
• Knowledge of shipping documentation, purchase orders, and inventory processes
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Oil & Gas manufacturing experience preferred
