Job description

Camtronics, a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a NYSE traded company (NYSE: HEI) is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk.Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime.The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for handling in-bound and out-bound shipments. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is a highly administrative role, not warehouse focused.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processing orders through internal (Quantum) operating system to include outbound shipment orders, customer received orders, foreign orders and export paperwork, and fabrication work orders
  • Preparing bills of lading, pack lists, and cert paperwork
  • Resolving discrepancy issues when receiving repair orders; communicating with customer service
  • Processing incoming customer repair orders, performing receiving inspection, creation of work order, label, scanning, and delivery to appropriate department.
  • Filing daily BOLs, orders, and receivers
  • Preparing and reviewing of various month-end reports
  • Ordering and maintaining shipping supplies.
  • Interfaces with Camtronics Group team members at many levels, up to and including middle management
  • Shipping of completed repairs -- utilizing Fedex, UPS, DHL web interfaces to create shipping labels; coordinating with freight forwarders
  • Packaging of products with care to ensure quality packaging of components upon completion of repairs.
  • Other Duties as assigned

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Experience:

  • 1-3 years experience in a shipping and receiving role preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced work environment and multi task.
  • Proficient in data entry with a strong attention to detail.

Specialized Knowledge or Abilities:

  • Language: Ability to read and interpret documents such as reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer skills: Basic computer knowledge. Quantum software experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products including Excel.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to use mathematics to solve problems.
  • Reasoning Abilities: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, strict attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize as necessary.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to sit walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The team member may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
