SHIPPING & WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE


Full-Time | Manufacturing Environment

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Shipping & Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for accurately preparing sheet metal parts for shipment to outside processing facilities, customers, and internal stock.

The ideal candidate has previous shipping or warehouse experience, is comfortable operating a sit-down forklift, and can safely handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review sales order pick slips and follow shipping instructions.
  • Locate job cards and verify parts against pick slips.
  • Pull materials and stock from inventory for shipments.
  • Box and palletize sheet metal parts according to shipping requirements.
  • Accurately record shipment counts and weights.
  • Complete and submit pick slips for packing slip processing.
  • Pack parts for inventory/stock.
  • Load and unload freight carriers, vendors, and customers.
  • Assist with warehouse inventory activities.
  • Prepare and pack parts for outside finishing and processing.
  • Maintain an organized and safe warehouse and shipping area.
  • Follow all company safety and quality procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous shipping, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Valid sit-down forklift experience required.
  • Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
