Job description

The Shipping Clerk coordinates outbound shipments, processes customer orders, receives incoming materials, maintains shipping documentation, and supports inventory accuracy. This position works closely with the warehouse, production, customer service, and logistics teams to ensure products ship safely, accurately, and on time.
Responsibilities
  • Process customer orders and prepare packing slips, bills of lading, and shipment documentation.
  • Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and documentation accuracy.
  • Schedule carriers and coordinate transportation requirements.
  • Work with warehouse and production personnel to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
  • Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies and customer concerns.
  • Support inventory control, cycle counts, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Shipping, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and shipping software.
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
