We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will collaborate closely with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and other stakeholders involved in the shipping and receiving process.

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and other stakeholders involved in the shipping and receiving process.
  • Track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments to maintain visibility and accountability.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and member-ready area to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Promptly unload trucks and deliveries, sorting and stocking receivables to facilitate quick access and inventory management.
  • Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves, ensuring proper scanning of inventory and accurate counting.
  • Engage with vendors and drivers in a positive and professional manner to foster good relationships and effective communication.
  • Provide additional backup support for shipping and receiving departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist Shipping/Receiving personnel as required to support daily operations.
  • Complete daily inbound receiving of products and packages, notifying recipients promptly to ensure timely distribution.
  • Manage the open dock inbound website for scheduling deliveries and pickups.
  • Create delivery receipts and packing slips to accompany shipments.
  • Schedule trucks for shipments and track shipment status to ensure timely delivery.
  • Produce address labels as needed for outgoing shipments.
  • Coordinate and maintain shipping/receiving requests and associated documentation.
  • Produce load tags and revise any incorrect tags to ensure accuracy in shipping.
  • Receive proof of deliveries to confirm successful receipt of goods.
  • Expedite incoming materials such as ink, corrugated materials, shippers, and labels, marking them as needed and removing them from incoming trucks.
