Shingle Roofing Foreman
Location: Livermore, CA

Job Summary: Allied Construction Services is seeking an experienced Shingle Roofing Foreman to lead crews installing, repairing, and maintaining asphalt shingle roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. As a veteran-owned company with over 23 years of experience and 3,500+ completed projects across the Greater Bay Area and Sacramento, ACS is looking for a hands-on leader who can run a crew safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct a crew of Roofing Shinglers on daily installation, tear-off, and repair work
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and manufacturer specifications
  • Assign tasks, manage crew productivity, and keep jobs on schedule
  • Inspect completed work for proper shingle installation, flashing, ventilation, and weatherproofing
  • Enforce OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols on every job site
  • Coordinate material orders and deliveries to avoid delays
  • Communicate job progress, delays, and issues to the Project Manager
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers on-site
  • Train and mentor Roofing Shinglers and laborers on the crew
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site
  • Complete daily job logs, timesheets, and required paperwork

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of roofing experience, including at least 1+ year in a lead or foreman role
  • Strong knowledge of asphalt shingle systems, underlayment, flashing, and ventilation
  • Ability to read roof plans and job specifications
  • Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and punctuality
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with residential roofing systems
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
