Job Description

Job Summary: Safely load bundles of shingles and related products to the roof. Perform warehouse duties such as moving inventory, shipping and receiving.

Job Responsibilities

  • Loading rooftops with bundles of shingles and related products

  • Working closely and co-operatively with driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery of product

  • Handling material by hand and with use of appropriate equipment

  • Required to perform warehouse duties such as moving inventory, shipping, and receiving, when not on deliveries

  • Maintaining clean and organized work environments in the store and yard

  • Strictly adhering to and complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation

  • Other duties as required

Qualifications
  • Requires physical strength/stamina and the ability to work at heights.

  • Fall Protection/Working at Heights training - an asset (can be provided)

  • Valid Forklift License - an asset (training can be provided)

  • Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience - Preferred

  • Previous experience as aGeneral Laborer/Laborer - an asset

  • Previous experience asWarehouse Associate, Construction Helper, Manual Laborer would be beneficial

  • Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset

  • Authorized to work in Canada
