Hotel Sales Manager
The industry leading Sheraton Greensboro Hotel at Four Seasons/Joseph S Koury Convention Center, the largest hotel and convention center in the Southeast is searching for an experienced dynamic Sales Manager!
You should be dedicated, aggressive, self motivated as well as have the ability to develop a sales plan and follow through on the effective execution.
This position will:
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the assigned market segment, industry trends, competitors, the property, and the local community
  • Develop and executer proactive sales strategies to target and engage the assigned market segment
  • Handle customer inquiries and leads for group bookings
  • Respond promptly to group and catering opportunities
  • Align customer preferences with hotel needs and actively up-sell to maximize revenue and drive loyalty
  • Execute operational aspect of booked business, including generating proposals, writing contracts, and managing customer correspondence
  • Drive revenue through relationship building, recognition of new business developments and team work.
  • Prospect new business through phone calls and face to face cold calls

Requirements
Position Requirements
  • Must have 3-5 years experience in hotel SALES
  • Experience at a LARGE PROPERTY
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to meet sales goals, strong negotiation skills and excellent customer service
  • Experience in prospecting, appointment setting, and making a high volume of outbound calls via the phone or face to face cold calls
  • Development of strong relationships with clients as well as the team
  • Persistent and able to overcome obstacles
  • Aggressive in the pursuit of all leads
  • Ability to travel as necessary
  • Outgoing personality with effective communication and organization skills
  • Willing to work flexible hours as needed
