Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our respiratory care team. As an RRT, you will play a critical role in the assessment, treatment, and management of patients with acute and chronic cardiopulmonary conditions across all age groups. Your expertise will support patients in emergency, critical care, and routine clinical settings.
Key responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing, administering oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications, managing ventilators and other life-support equipment, and responding to Code Blue and Rapid Response situations. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective respiratory care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, technical proficiency, and the ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure environments. A patient-centered approach and clear communication skills are essential, especially when educating patients and families about respiratory treatments and home care.
