Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):

$27.500 - $30.400 - $33.530


This position is covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with SEIU-UHW. As part of the terms of employment, employees in this role are required to join the union within 31 days of hire and remain a member (e.g. dues paying, fee paying, religious exception contributor) for the duration of the collective bargaining agreement.

In alignment with the SEIU CBA, this position will be posted for 7 days internally from 5.5.26 to 5.12.26 and available only to existing members of the ratified SEIU Bargaining Unit with a contract expiration date of 9/30/2027.


What You Will Do
To provide support to the rehabilitation service through both patient related and non patient related duties.
Required Qualifications

  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Professional (AHA BLS Healthcare) - American Heart Association -REQUIRED


Preferred Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
  • Prior related experience


Essential Functions

  • Department competency
    The aide is competent in providing patient care as directed by the supervising therapist within the context of the clinical environment and training received.
    The aide's verbal/written communication is timely, complete and accurate, follows Sharp HealthCare guidelines. Documentation is co signed by the supervising therapist.
    The aide is cooperative and courteous to the customers and demonstrates appropriate awareness of age and cultural needs as part of Sharp HealthCare's commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Department support
    The aide maintains the department and treatment areas in safe, clean and orderly fashion.
    The aide effectively completes clinical support duties as assigned.
  • Professional development
    The aide identifies own needs for skills training and practice opportunities and demonstrates initiative in taking classes or attending programs related to work area.
  • Teamwork
    The aide promotes constructive working relationships and works effectively as a part of the team to facilitate its ability to meet its goals and objectives.
    The aide performs duties as necessary for efficient departmental functioning.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Capable of speaking and writing in English.
