Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to accurately evaluate clients' mental health needs, utilizing standardized tools and personal interviews.
  • Design and execute tailored treatment plans that align with clients' therapeutic goals, regularly monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments.
  • Implement evidence-based approaches within individual therapy sessions, utilizing solution-focused techniques to empower adult clients.
  • Facilitate virtual therapy sessions via teletherapy platforms, ensuring clients receive consistent care remotely.
  • Provide crisis intervention when needed, demonstrating the ability to handle high-stress situations with compassion and efficacy.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay updated on mental health trends and best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with adult clients facing a range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to complex emotional issues. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping them navigate their personal journeys toward improved mental health and well-being, fulfilling their therapeutic needs with customized care.

Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients.
  • Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and a commitment to maintaining a non-judgmental atmosphere.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage a full caseload efficiently.
  • No prior disciplinary actions must be on record.
Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in teletherapy or working in community health settings. Familiarity with various mental health issues and treatment methodologies will enhance your ability to provide exceptional care.
