As a Software Developer, Enterprise Applications, you'll design and deliver internal software solutions that improve how DCS works every day. From workflow automation and system integrations to reporting and business applications, you'll build scalable tools that reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and support our growing business.
Working closely with the PMO, business stakeholders, and IT, you'll own well-defined projects from requirements through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. This is a hands-on development role where you'll make technical decisions within established standards while partnering with senior technical leaders on enterprise architecture and infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Design, build, test, deploy, and support internal applications, workflow automations, integrations, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
  • Develop scalable tools that streamline business processes, improve operational efficiency, and reduce manual work.
  • Translate business requirements into practical, maintainable technical solutions.
  • Build and support solutions across platforms such as Salesforce, Quickbase, SharePoint, databases, and other business systems.
  • Develop API, platform-native, and file-based integrations between internal applications.
  • Create reliable data structures, queries, and reporting solutions that improve business visibility and decision-making.
  • Own assigned features from development through release, documentation, testing, and post-launch support.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and recommend continuous improvements.
  • Partner with PMO, IT, vendors, and business leaders to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business priorities.
  • Follow established development, security, documentation, and change management standards.

We're Excited About You Because...
  • You have 3+ years of experience developing internal business applications, workflow automation, or enterprise software solutions.
  • You can translate business needs into scalable, user-friendly technical solutions.
  • You're experienced with relational databases, SQL, APIs, and system integrations.
  • You've worked with technologies such as C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Salesforce, Quickbase, SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure, or similar platforms.
  • You understand software development best practices, including version control, testing, documentation, and release management.
  • You're a strong problem solver who enjoys troubleshooting complex technical challenges and improving existing systems.
  • You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy partnering across teams to improve business processes.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with Salesforce, Quickbase, SharePoint, Power BI, BigQuery, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Experience building workflow automation, internal tools, API integrations, or reporting solutions.
  • Background supporting operations, engineering, manufacturing, construction, logistics, or project delivery organizations.
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, user stories, backlog management, and release planning.
