Job description

The Part-Time Engagement & Recognition Associate will provide administrative, project coordination, communications, and event support for employee engagement and recognition initiatives. This position is responsible for helping ensure programs are executed accurately, consistently, and on schedule across field and corporate teams.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong follow-through, sound judgment, clear communication, and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Support daily administration of Aveanna Heartbeat, including employee support, platform updates, reporting, program coordination, and program communications.
  • Administer service anniversary, milestone, and recognition processes to ensure timely, accurate, and meaningful employee recognition.
  • Coordinate delivery of plaques, awards, certificates, recognition materials, vendor orders, and shipments to locations nationwide.
  • Maintain Inclusion & Engagement SharePoint content, employee-facing tools, and resource links, including permissions, file organization, accessibility, and link functionality.
  • Support enterprise employee engagement, volunteerism, and culture-building programs, including Aveanna Cares communications, participation tracking, storytelling, and event support.
  • Monitor and triage routine Inclusion & Engagement inquiries, use approved FAQs and escalation guidelines, and leverage Microsoft Copilot and other approved tools to improve efficiency while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and alignment with Aveanna tone.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1–3 years of experience in administrative support, project coordination, employee experience, communications, human resources, marketing, event planning, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Relationship-oriented with the ability to work effectively across teams and functions.
  • Comfortable learning new technology and digital tools.
  • Creative, resourceful, and solutions-oriented.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Canva.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot is a plus.
