Position: Microsoft Copilot Administrator / M365 & SharePoint Administrator (Contract)
Location: Dallas, TX or Austin, TX (Hybrid preferred / Onsite as required)
Duration: 4 months Strong potential for extension
Domain : Insurance domain
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Microsoft M365, SharePoint, and Identity platforms
Role Summary:
The Microsoft Copilot Administrator / M365 & SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for managing Copilot for Microsoft 365, administering core M365 services, and supporting SharePoint Online operations and migration activities. The role requires strong expertise in security, governance, and enterprise collaboration platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365.
  • Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 services (Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
  • Implement security and governance controls including Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, and PIM.
  • Administer SharePoint Online architecture, permissions, and governance.
  • Lead and support SharePoint content migration activities using approved migration tools.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance, and business stakeholders.
  • Monitor platform health, adoption, and performance.
  • Prepare technical documentation and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
  • Hands-on Copilot for Microsoft 365 administration experience
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, MFA, and PIM
  • Proven SharePoint Online administration and migration experience
  • Knowledge of M365 security, compliance, and Zero Trust principles

Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Certifications (M365, Security, Identity, or Copilot-related)
  • Experience using SharePoint migration tools (ShareGate, Migration Manager, etc.)
  • PowerShell scripting for automation
