Required Skills
  • 5+ years of experience as a full-time SharePoint Administrator managing MOSS 2007, SharePoint 2010/2013
  • Experience configuring, managing and troubleshooting SharePoint
  • Experience installing/upgrading SharePoint farms from the ground up
  • Experience writing and executing PowerShell scripts
  • Experience with Kerberos and Claims‑based authentication models
  • Experience with SQL Server 2008/2012
  • Experience building and maintaining SharePoint InfoPath forms
  • Experience with Windows Server 2008/2012 and IIS 6/7 administration
  • Experience performing routine DR activities
  • Experience with FAST and SharePoint Search
  • Experience using performance monitoring tools such as SCOM and/or SolarWinds
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior presentation and writing skills
  • Enterprise ticketing software experience (HPOpview, Remedy, etc.)
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills

Required Certification & Education
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration
  • Equivalency: In lieu of specified degree(s), equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Microsoft SharePoint Certifications (MCSE, MCTS or MCITP); ITIL or other certifications a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Support an enterprise SharePoint 2010 environment serving 6000+ users for collaboration and intranet use.
  • Proficient in all aspects of advanced SharePoint 2007/2010/2013 administration, including Central Administration, Web Front Ends, service and web applications, site collection creation, document libraries, and backup/restore of content databases.
  • Experience with installing/configuring SharePoint 2007/2010/2013 server farm; applying patches, service packs, and infrastructure updates; supporting developers in deployment of SharePoint‑related solutions.
  • Knowledge of and experience with SharePoint development and maintenance, system deployment, and administration of a SharePoint portal.
  • Strong background in Active Directory, DNS, Kerberos and other network and authentication technologies.
  • Highly skilled in supporting the design and deployment of enterprise‑wide SharePoint 2007/2010 implementations and customizations, including permissions, lists, libraries, wiki, and other platform offerings.
  • Troubleshoot issues in a multi‑platform, multi‑team, production environment.
  • Respond in a timely manner to support tickets related to issues, performance, patching, backup/recovery and other changes to the SharePoint environment.
  • Provide second and third tier support for SharePoint systems by interacting with technical staff, help desk personnel, or end users.
  • Continuously review, analyze, monitor and improve the current SharePoint environment.
  • Analyze requirements for new SharePoint capabilities and recommend system improvements.
  • Document and implement best practices for managing SharePoint.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to users, the SharePoint development team, as well as project teams.
  • Adhere to change management policies/procedures and submit required documentation in a timely manner.
