• Conduct virtual therapy sessions using secure telehealth platforms to address clients’ mental health needs in real-time.
• Create a safe and trusting environment, encouraging clients to share and reflect on their thoughts and feelings.
• Collaborate with clients to identify their personal goals, needs, and challenges, and support them in their journey toward achieving those objectives.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on client assessments and evidence-based practices.
• Document therapy sessions and client progress meticulously, ensuring all records comply with organizational policies and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular supervision and peer consultation to enhance therapeutic skills and maintain clinical excellence.

As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population that may include individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Your role will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their challenges, utilize coping strategies, and enhance their overall emotional well-being. • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
• Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in Virginia, allowing for independent practice.
• Two years of experience in providing therapy and treatment planning, demonstrating clinical competence.
• Excellent communication skills, particularly in digital contexts, to establish rapport and trust with clients.
• Proficiency with online therapy platforms and familiarity with electronic health record systems is preferred.

• Experience with specific populations, such as adolescents, veterans, or those dealing with chronic health issues, will be considered an asset.
• Background in multidisciplinary collaboration, particularly within virtual team settings.
• Previous work in telehealth environments and knowledge of best practices in virtual therapy are advantageous.
