Job description

QUALIFICATIONS:
Child Nutrition Specialist will oversee many aspects of the site Child Nutrition Program (CNP) operation. The job functions include administering, planning, assessment, implementing and evaluation of the program to meet the nutritional, financial, food safety and sanitation needs as they relate to the program. The Specialist will partner with others in the school district to provide an environment that supports healthy food habits while maintaining program integrity, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. Candidates with ServSafe Manager Certification is preferred.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Effective Date: 2026-2027 school year
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Schedule: 8 hours per day/187-day contract
Benefits: VRS pension and life insurance, medical/dental insurance, sick days and personal days
