Job description

Description: The Special Order Coordinator is responsible for driving the accurate and efficient execution of the special order product flow.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure efficient processing of Special Order purchase orders (POs) by thoroughly reviewing data accuracy and integrity  
  • Manage the Special Order inbox, ensuring prompt and accurate responses
  • Accountable for distributing and effectively communicating information to the stores and product teams 
  • Maintained regular communication with external vendors to ensure the timely delivery of special order products
  • Work closely with the Special Order Analyst to ensure all orders are fulfilled within the quoted lead time and communicated effectively to the client
  • PIM (product information) maintenance for SPO SKUs as needed

  • Other duties may be determined by management to perform the necessary functions of the position, on an as needed basis.  

Key fundamental skill sets for this role will be:

  • High sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively
  • Ability to learn quickly and to retain information. Must be analytical and be able to comprehend how multiple systems interact.

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Productivity and prioritization skills a must.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – emphasis on Excel & Outlook
  • Excellent Time Management skills
  • Prior experience in retail inventory software is a plus.
  • Customer Service or prior retail experience is a plus.
