What You'll Do
As a Production Order Coordinator, you'll serve as the communication hub between departments, customers, and sales teams to ensure orders move efficiently through the manufacturing process and ship on schedule.
You'll help maintain customer satisfaction by proactively monitoring production timelines, resolving delays, and keeping stakeholders informed every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management & Production Tracking
  • Monitor work orders throughout the manufacturing lifecycle
  • Utilize the company ERP system to track production status on the shop floor
  • Coordinate with Purchasing regarding outside processing and service updates
  • Identify potential scheduling risks before orders become overdue

Customer & Sales Support
  • Provide accurate order updates to customers and internal sales representatives
  • Communicate proactively regarding delays, timeline adjustments, and shipment expectations
  • Serve as a key liaison between operations and customer-facing teams

Process Improvement & Team Collaboration
  • Support operational efficiency initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  • Assist with additional administrative and coordination duties as needed
