Work Order CoordinatorLocation: 380 World Way, Los Angeles, CA, 90045Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Work Order Coordinator to join our team. The Work Order Coordinator will be responsible for managing work orders, scheduling maintenance tasks, and ensuring timely completion of all requests. This individual will work closely with maintenance staff, vendors, and other team members to coordinate work order requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced airport environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and dispatch work orders for conveyor line issues and maintenance tasks.
  • Schedule and track the timely completion of work orders.
  • Follow company procedures and escalate issues promptly to minimize system downtime.
  • Maintain databases, reports, and flight tables related to system operations.
  • Run and distribute operational reports as scheduled or requested.
  • Serve as a communication hub between technicians and site management.
  • Assist with clearing system jams when needed.
  • Support parts inventory tracking and data entry in the CMMS.
  • Complete required safety training and comply with all safety policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Basic Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain an Airport Security Badge.
  • Must comply with the ELS Drug and Alcohol Policy.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous airport or maintenance experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with CMMS, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and baggage system interfaces.
  • Ability to type at least 30 WPM and communicate clearly via two-way radio.
  • Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude is a plus.
Work Environment:
This position is located under the airport terminal, where conditions may include dust, dirt, and continuous background noise (below OSHA’s action level). Physical demands vary daily.
