Job description

Job Summary
We are looking for a Microsoft O365 Engineer to join our ThyssenKrupp North America IT team to support our cloud-based M365 services and applications. This position will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of multiple Microsoft O365 solutions, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive. This role will also troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Microsoft O365 performance, security, and availability.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
  • Design, test, and implement Microsoft O365 solutions according to best practices and business requirements.
  • Configure, administer, maintain, and sustain the Microsoft O365 services and applications, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive
  • Provide functional support to enhance capabilities in the areas of tenant management of O365 subscriptions
  • Must have a thorough working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Exchange Online Administrator roles, duties, and daily performance operations
  • Participate as a key team member in evaluating, planning, migrating, deploying, and managing Microsoft 365 services.
  • Provide effective and efficient Tier 2 and Tier 3-level service desk support of all users for both cloud-based and client application-based issues
  • Must be able to provide complete administration of the Microsoft 365 environment and its capabilities.
  • Query Exchange environment using the Office 365 Command online tool
  • Implement and support security policies, such as data retention.
  • Manage problem resolution to a satisfactory completion by keeping abreast of assigned tickets and following the proper escalation processes via ticketing system.
  • Update, contribute, and maintain local SharePoint team sites as procedures/documentation change.
  • Manage all service operations, delivery, and business unit demand as it pertains to O365 applications
  • Optimize processes in order to improve service delivery performance
  • Take ownership of critical incidents, coordinating resolution parties, and establishing effect communication between stakeholders for post-incident review
  • Collaborate with other service managers and service owners to exchange best practice approaches

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years Overall IT Operations / Infrastructure Experience
  • Minimum 3 years Supporting the Office365 Platform
  • Minimum 3 years Supporting Office365 Exchange online
  • Minimum 3 year Supporting Office365 Teams and Azure AD
  • Minimum 3 year Building solutions within PowerApps/PowerShell
  • Minimum 3 years Supporting Office365 SharePoint Online Required
  • Incident Management experience via the Service Now platform Recommended
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving and management skills, with the ability to adjust for frequent changes to project scopes and timelines
