Job description

Role: ServiceNow Software Engineer III

Location: Jackson, MI (Hybrid)

Rate: Market

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

  • Build, implement and maintain ServiceNow Modules.
  • Perform analysis and refine system requirements and designs.
  • Ensure the rigorous application of information security/ information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of ServiceNow
  • Promote ServiceNow Update Sets.
  • Build complex ServiceNow workflows, catalog items.
  • Participate in design and code reviews for other members of the development team.
  • Support complex integrations to and from ServiceNow.
  • Identify, develop, deploy, and provide post implementation support of infrastructure and or application technologies to support the company’s business requirements.
  • Applies principles, methods, and procedures for designing, developing, optimizing, and integrating new and/or reusable systems components.
  • Perform prototyping, design, development, testing, debugging, documentation and implementation of software applications in an agile environment.
  • Work with a cross functional team to implement and delivery that include agile methodologies.

Skills:

  • Must have experience with JavaScript and HTML.
  • Must have experience creating ServiceNow update sets and workflows, promoting and testing through multiple instances and into production.
  • ServiceNow build and maintenance experience is preferred for the following ServiceNow Modules:
  • IT Service Management – Incident, Change, Problem, Asset, Release and Discovery Modules
  • Customer Service Management Module
  • IT Operations Management – Event Management and Discovery Modules
  • IT Business Management – Demand Module
  • Software Asset Management Module
  • Security Operations – Vulnerability Response Module
  • Intelligent Apps – Automated Testing Framework Module
  • Knowledge Management, Service Portals, CMDB, Service Catalog and Analytics
  • Experience with complex integrations including VeraSmart, SAP, and Clarity.
