Job description

SERVICE MANAGER DUTIES

-Supervise and manage all Service Department operations and personnel at the Portland, OR branch, including coaching and counsel of a large service department and staff including all FSMs, project managers, shop personnel & office staff.

-Supervise shop operations, including scheduling repairs and prepping both new & rental equipment for on-time deliveries.

-Maintain proper staffing levels and equipment needs for road mechanics and parts personnel.

-Review all internal and external matters involving branch operations & expenses, including service team review and potential growth.

-Receive and respond to all customer requests or inquiries regarding the full product line.

-Warranty submittals and rejection rates.

-Review labor rates with competition on a regular basis.

-Work with Sales Department to develop future business with current customers and potential customers in all Portland, OR territories.

-Monitor Work-In-Process, as well as non-billable percentages, to ensure branch profitability.

-Maintain comprehensive knowledge of forklifts and all related industrial equipment, and its operation.

-Ability to meet deadlines.

-Ability to read, understand, interpret, and convey technical information.

-Strong customer service; written, verbal and in person.

-This position reports to the Branch Manager and Service Director.

Salary: $100,000- $140,000 DOE
