Job Title: Business Development Manager

Client: First-Tek, Inc.

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: Full Time

Schedule: 5 Days Onsite

Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 per year + Sales Incentives

Role Overview:

Full-time, office-based Business Development Manager responsible for growing and managing client accounts and expanding Cenergy International’s staffing, contract labor, vendor management, and special project services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

·       Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.

·       Generate new business through prospecting, outreach, networking, and pipeline development.

·       Manage the full client/account lifecycle, including job orders, candidate submissions, assignments, credentialing, and client requirements.

·       Build territory plans and targeted growth strategies, focusing on Energy, Aerospace/Defense, and Chemical industries.

·       Conduct inside and outside sales and communicate Cenergy’s value proposition to prospects and clients.

·       Track account metrics, sales activity, forecasts, and progress toward goals.

·       Partner closely with Recruiting and leadership to fill client needs and drive business growth.

·       Address client issues and ensure high-quality, timely service delivery.

·       Leverage CRM and ATS tools to track activity, opportunities, and market feedback.

·       Help develop sales tools and strategies to support closing new business.

·       Ensure individual and team sales goals are achieved.

Ideal Candidate:

·       3–5 years of staffing sales experience required.

·       2+ years of business development/account management experience in staffing, recruiting, or B2B sales.

·       Strong relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

·       Proven ability to influence executives and C-level stakeholders.

·       Highly organized, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

·       Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

·       Strong Microsoft Office/computer skills.

·       Willing to support clients outside normal business hours when needed.

 

Education:

Associate degree or higher in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Compensation & Travel:

Monthly performance-based incentive/commission after probationary period.

Houston, TX office-based role with local travel.

Some overnight travel expected several times per month.
