Job Description

Join Our Team as an Experienced Service Advisor!

A prominent independent used car dealership is looking for a skilled Service Advisor to join our high-volume team. With a steady stream of potential customers, we are dedicated to your success and want to hear from you!

Role Overview: As a Service Advisor, you will greet customers, assess their needs, create repair orders, oversee the repair process, maintain communication with customers, and return vehicles upon completion. You'll also support fellow advisors in delivering an exceptional guest experience, adhere to our service processes, and manage service claims, ensuring timely submission of reports to the Accounting Department. Additionally, you'll coordinate with the Sales Department to address customer service needs and resolve post-sale issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule appointments and maintain an efficient, positive work environment.

Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service.

Take ownership of the customer experience and perform additional tasks to enhance their impression of the dealership.

Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, in person or over the phone.

Follow up with warranty companies to ensure timely payment of service claims.

Administer service paperwork and reports to the Accounting Department.

Collaborate with other Service Advisors and the Sales Department to resolve customer issues.

Perform other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in an Automotive Service Department.

Familiarity with Dealertrack DMS is a plus.

Organized and friendly demeanor.

Strong time management and communication skills.

Professional appearance and a clean driving record.

Valid NC Driver’s License.

Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Availability to work Saturdays.
