Purpose Statement
The purpose of the Service Account Manager for the Southwest USA region (Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas) is to cultivate strong client relationships, ensure high-quality service delivery, and drive customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for proactively managing accounts, identifying opportunities for growth, and resolving issues efficiently to support business objectives and enhance client loyalty across the region as well as sell products for the Paper Service Division.
Essential Functions:
  • Serve as the primary contact to build new and long-term relationships with customers.
  • Continually look for ways to improve account growth through clear understanding of clients' objectives and goals.
  • Ability to drive client retention and satisfaction throughout the territory.
  • Serve as a liaison between the client and internal teams.
  • Maintain organized and detailed territory records in the Company's CRM system.
  • Represent all product lines assigned on each mill visit.
  • Responsible for the territory forecasts, budgets and cost controls.
  • Develop and adhere to processes and workflows, as it relates to account success.
  • Provide input on new processes and workflows as needed and assist with implementing these processes.

Education, professional experience and qualification preferred/required
  • B.S. degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Paper Science) with 3-5 years' experience in Pulp and Paper, or combination of education and work experience, preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • CRM system experience, a plus.
  • Requires a service mindset and customer focus.
  • Sales experience and established relationships with the customers in the region is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Andritz Stock Preparation and Paper Machine Service product lines is required.
  • Must be self-motivated, able to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities with minimal supervison.
  • Willingness to travel - 80% of time will be spent in the field.

Physical and Mental Qualifications
Position performed in an office and/or home office-remote) environment. Frequent visits to mills and manufacturing facilities are required. Environment: Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, welding machines, heavy duty magnets and manual/remote controlled devices using radio signals. Physical conditions for position: Sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, ascend/descend stairs, lifting up to 25 lbs. Must have visual acuity, excellent mobility, good hearing, manual dexterity, good balance, ability to endure long hours, and wear required personal protective equipment. All tasks performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
