The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic, business-savvy leader to step into the role of Assisted Living Director.

As the operational leader of our assisted living department, you will be the captain of the ship. You will manage day-to-day operations, drive staff culture, balance the budget, and oversee resident services to ensure our community sets the standard for high-quality senior care and hospitality in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Manage the day-to-day business operations of the assisted living department, ensuring the community is safe, welcoming, well-maintained, and operating smoothly.

  • People & Culture: Lead, mentor, and supervise your team. You will drive recruitment, handle scheduling to ensure optimal staffing levels, and champion onboarding and continuous training.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the department is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing assisted living environments.

  • Resident Care Oversight: Work closely with our nursing team to ensure the development of resident-centered care plans and seamless coordination with physicians and families.

  • Fiscal Responsibility: Oversee the department budget, managing expenses and resources without sacrificing the high quality of care and hospitality our residents deserve.

Qualifications
  • The Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of proven leadership or management experience specifically within an Assisted Living, Residential Care, or Senior Living setting.

  • Regulatory Know-How: Strong, working knowledge of Indiana state regulations governing assisted living environments.

  • The Skillset: Sharp organizational abilities, experience navigating operational budgets, and a collaborative communication style that inspires a team.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred (equivalent direct leadership experience will be considered).
