Job description

We are the one and only puppy store in Wilmington, and work closely with local and out of state breeders in providing pure bred and designer breeds to families that are wanting a specific type of puppy. Our puppies are examined by multiple veterinarian before coming to us, as well as whenever they arrive into our care. We provide our customers with all paperwork pertaining to their desired puppy, including breeder information, and when available parent photos and pedigrees showing lineage.

We understand that not everyone agrees with buying a puppy, and we are not here to convince anyone that this is what they should do. We encourage taking a look at the local shelter first before coming to us, because there are many animals in need of finding loving homes, but we also understand that adopting a pet may not be the best fit for everyone, and thats where we come in.

Our puppies go home with a health warranty, they are microchipped, registered, up to date on vaccinations and dewormed.

We are looking to hire someone who is motivated and has experience in retail sales. We offer many opportunities of growth, including working with our veterinarian, and providing care and play time for our puppies until they find their furrever homes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, maintaining solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.

Full Job Description

You would be responsible to match the right pet with the right family.

Positivity and great communication skills are a must!

You are expected to assist customers in the aisles, at the register, and in the playrooms (small rooms in our store where families can connect with their possible future pets).

You will learn how to build value, overcome objections, run financing, and close deals in a fast-paced sales environment.

We offer a unique opportunity to work full-time or part-time.

This is easily one of the best jobs anywhere. You get to play with puppies, care for them, and see families connect with their forever buddies while also making an incredible living!

Duties may also include cleaning after pets, caring for pets as required, and other duties to ensure a good environment for pets.
