Requisition Summary:
PACCAR is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Server Administrator 3 to oversee, maintain, and optimize our enterprise server infrastructure. In this critical role, you will lead the day-to-day administration and strategic direction of a hybrid infrastructure encompassing Windows, Redhat Linux, VMware, AWS, and Azure cloud environments. You will champion system performance, disaster recovery planning, robust backup strategies utilizing Rubrik, and enterprise storage management via EMC SAN. 
Beyond virtual and operating system administration, this role ensures the operational integrity of our physical server room facilities-overseeing HVAC, fire suppression, UPS/battery backups, and NVR security systems. As a technical leader, you will drive audit compliance, execute complex system updates, recommend equipment upgrades, and provide high-level technical guidance to end-users. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a strong foundation in Microsoft and Linux ecosystems, capable of managing changing priorities in a dynamic, 24/7 high-availability environment.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
   Set up, configure, and support Windows Servers
   Set up, configure, and support VMware, AWS and Azure Virtual Servers
   Monitor and tune systems to ensure a high level of performance
   Oversee and apply updates/patches
   Maintain Active Directory and file/folder permissions
   Create and maintain a disaster recovery plan
   Maintain backups of systems and critical data
   Recommend upgrades and new equipment
   Create and maintain detailed documents
   Provide technical support and guidance to end users
   Complete daily operating system health checks
   Support scheduled after-hours maintenance
   Ability to be on call for 24/7 support
   Highly motivated, self-starter, able to work independently, multi-task, respond to changing priorities and initiative to own specific tasks
   Ensure compliance with audit standards by maintaining accurate documentation, implementing required controls, and supporting regular audit reviews.
   Oversee the operational integrity of server room infrastructure, including HVAC systems, fire suppression equipment, UPS/back up batteries, and environmental monitoring to ensure optimal performance and equipment protection.
   Set up and maintain NVR systems, including camera integration, storage management, and updates.

Qualifications Required:

   Minimum of five years' experience with Windows Server (2019, 2022 and 2025)
   Minimum of five years' experience with Redhat Linux
   In-depth knowledge of installing, troubleshooting, and administering Windows Servers
   Knowledge of installing, troubleshooting, and administering Redhat Linux Server
   Proven experience with VMware vSphere
   Proven experience with EMC SAN Storage
   Proven experience with Rubrik Backup Solutions
   Proven experience with IIS and failover clustering
   Knowledge of Cisco networking devices
   Knowledge of Internet Information Services
   Knowledge of Mainframe and Warehouse Control Systems
   Strong documentation, organizational, and administration skills
   Strong oral and written communication skills
   Experience with SQL server considered a plus
   Experience with SharePoint considered a plus
   Experience with AWS/ Azure Cloud solutions 
     Must meet physical requirements of the position with or without accommodation. 


Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required. MCSA / CompTIA Server+ or equivalent certification preferred.
