Job description

Position Summary


The Data Center Technician III is primarily a senior server administrator with project ownership responsibilities. Unlike the Technician II role, which focuses on executing technical work and troubleshooting infrastructure issues, the Technician III is expected to own projects, coordinate stakeholders, manage outcomes, and serve as a trusted technical resource. The strongest candidates combine server administration expertise, troubleshooting ability, monitoring and observability experience, leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple teams during incidents and projects. Communication is a heavy component of this role. Candidates must be easy to understand, articulate, and able to communicate effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership while coordinating work across multiple groups.


Key Responsibilities


  • Own infrastructure projects from planning through completion.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex infrastructure and server-related issues.
  • Administer and support enterprise server environments.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex production incidents.
  • Analyze logs, alerts, monitoring data, and system events.
  • Support Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
  • Support server provisioning, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Support monitoring and observability platforms.
