This position is contingent upon successful contract submission and award.


Prevailance is seeking a Senior SERE / ECAC Instructor to deliver advanced Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape (SERE) and Evasion & Conduct After Capture (ECAC) instruction in support of high-risk training programs at JBSA-Lackland. This role is suited for seasoned SERE professionals with senior instructional experience who can lead field and resistance training events, assess student performance, and uphold rigorous training standards. Travel may be required.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Deliver field and technical SERE instruction including survival, navigation, signaling, evasion, and personnel recovery techniques
  • Instruct students on use of maps, compasses, GPS, and communication/signaling devices
  • Conduct training in austere and physically demanding environments
  • Deliver resistance training through classroom instruction, role-play scenarios, debriefs, and guided discussions
  • Conduct and demonstrate resistance activities including student processing, searches, and field tactical interrogations
  • Evaluate and assess student performance in simulated captivity environments
  • Validate training materials, syllabi, and instructor guides to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of USAF SV81A or an approved DoD SERE Level C (High Risk) Course
  • Level C certificate required
  • 5+ years experience instructing at an SV88AL SERE course
  • 10+ years of military service (any branch); minimum rank E-7
  • Honorable discharge (DD-214 required)
  • Ability to meet demanding physical requirements (rucking, prolonged standing, extended instruction hours)
  • Ability to pass SERE psychological screening and High-Risk training evaluations

Desired Qualifications:

  • First Aid / CPR or Wilderness First Responder certification
  • Familiarity with USAF SERE program structure and hierarchy

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED

Clearance:

  • Possesses and maintain a Secret Clearance
