Familiarity with simulation equipment, learning management systems, and up-to-date AAP NRP guidelines is essential. What are Day Shift NRP Instructors?

Day Shift NRP Instructors are healthcare professionals who teach the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) courses during daytime hours. They educate and certify medical staff, such as nurses, doctors, and respiratory therapists, in the skills needed to resuscitate newborns in emergency situations. These instructors use a combination of lectures, hands-on simulations, and assessments to ensure participants are competent in neonatal resuscitation protocols. Their role is crucial in maintaining high standards of neonatal care and improving outcomes for newborns in distress.

Day Shift NRP Instructors often face the challenge of accommodating the varied experience levels of healthcare professionals in their classes, which can make pacing and engagement tricky.
