General Overview

The Digital Engagement Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of sequential, conversion-focused messaging journeys across audience segments, ensuring a cohesive and high-performing communication experience throughout the customer lifecycle. They lead and execute messaging strategies across multiple digital touchpoints, including email, mobile messaging, and PWA push notifications.


Essential Functions

  • Manage and execute messaging across digital channels, including mobile messaging and PWA push notifications.
  • Develop and manage sequential messaging flows across audience segments.
  • Align messaging across email, mobile, and other digital touchpoints to support the full customer journey.
  • Support messaging strategies tied to conversion, engagement, and retention goals.
  • Identify optimization opportunities across messaging flows and campaigns.
  • Build, schedule, test, and deploy email campaigns across multiple languages using SendGrid.
  • Manage email lists, segments, and basic HTML edits and automations.
  • Coordinate email timelines with marketing, development, commercial, and PR calendars.
  • QA emails for copy accuracy, links, formatting, personalization, and deliverability.
  • Prepare and share email and messaging performance reports (open rate, CTR, conversions, clicks, etc.).
  • Work closely with Marketing, Content, Social Media, Technology, and Leadership teams to align messaging with business objectives.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience managing multi-channel messaging.
  • Prior experience managing email campaigns and digital communications
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle and journey-based messaging.
  • Prior experience with the SendGrid email platform.
  • Basic HTML knowledge for email formatting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and strategize effectively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring error-free content.
  • Analytical mindset to measure success and optimize messaging efforts based on data.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing or similar roles.
  • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
