Job description

The Opportunity:Implements tactical and operational goals established by management, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and structured workflows across business functions. Contributes to the implementation of new processes, standards, and operational plans that enhance productivity and reduce operational risks, driving moderate impact on department results. Manages projects and/or process improvement initiatives, such as workflow optimization, automation enhancements, and efficiency audits. Develops structured frameworks to refine business procedures and ensure continuous improvement. Works on problems and issues with a diverse scope, requiring evaluation of multiple factors such as data inconsistencies, resource constraints, technology integrations, and compliance requirements. Derives solutions based on limited information and/or precedents while adapting methodologies to fit evolving business needs. Communicates with internal and external parties such as IT, compliance, operations, and external vendors to align process improvement initiatives with business objectives.

The Lead Workfront System Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, optimization, and adoption of Adobe Workfront and related workflow technologies across the organization. This role serves as the primary platform expert and trusted consultant to business stakeholders, translating marketing and operational requirements into scalable workflows, automation, reporting, and governance solutions.


Working closely with the Marketing Workflow & Process Excellence Manager, the Lead Workfront System Administrator drives platform effectiveness through system configuration, process design, user enablement, reporting, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role balances technical platform administration with consultative process improvement to ensure Workfront supports organizational goals, operational efficiency, and user adoption.


What we're looking for

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of Adobe Workfront administration experience in a complex business environment.
  • Experience designing and implementing workflow solutions, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
  • Experience with Workfront Fusion, integrations, APIs, and workflow automation preferred.
  • Experience supporting enterprise marketing operations or business process management initiatives preferred.
  • Workfront Planning experience preferred.
  • Adobe Workfront certifications are a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Workfront administration, configuration, reporting, and workflow design.
  • Experience building and maintaining Workfront Fusion automations and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of business process improvement, workflow optimization, and operational excellence principles.
  • Proficiency in text mode reporting, dashboards, custom forms, request queues, and workflow configuration.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions. Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience delivering user training and driving platform adoption.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence and continuous improvement.

    • Administer, configure, and maintain Adobe Workfront to support evolving business and operational requirements.
    • Manage platform configuration, including portfolios, programs, groups, teams, layouts, custom forms, queues, workflows, and permissions.
    • Ensure platform stability, scalability, data integrity, and adherence to governance standards.
    • Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization.
    • Support Workfront Planning and related workflow technologies as applicable.

  • Workflow Design & Process Improvement
    • Partner with stakeholders to understand business processes, challenges, and operational goals.
    • Facilitate workflow discovery and requirements-gathering sessions across marketing and cross-functional teams.
    • Document current-state and future-state processes and recommend improvements that increase efficiency, visibility, and consistency.
    • Translate business requirements into scalable Workfront configurations, workflow designs, automation, and reporting solutions.
    • Promote process standardization and operational excellence through effective workflow design.

  • Reporting, Analytics & Data Governance
    • Design, build, and maintain reports, dashboards, and executive-level metrics to support decision-making and operational transparency.
    • Partner with leadership to define and measure platform adoption, workflow compliance, capacity, and operational performance metrics.
    • Maintain reporting standards, data governance practices, naming conventions, and metadata structures to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
    • Perform periodic audits and data quality reviews to maintain system integrity.
  • Automation & Integrations
    • Design, build, maintain, and monitor workflow automations using Workfront Fusion and related technologies.
    • Support integrations between Workfront and connected business systems.
    • Troubleshoot automation and integration issues and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology.
    • Evaluate new platform capabilities and automation opportunities to enhance business processes.

  • User Support, Adoption & Training
    • Serve as the primary escalation point for Workfront support and troubleshooting.
    • Manage user administration, permissions, access controls, and license allocation processes.
    • Develop and deliver user training, onboarding materials, best practices, and support documentation.
    • Promote platform adoption through education, communication, and continuous engagement with stakeholders.
    • Gather user feedback and identify opportunities to improve the user experience and increase adoption.

  • Release Management & Continuous Improvement
    • Evaluate Workfront releases and new platform capabilities to assess business impact and opportunities.
    • Coordinate testing, validation, and deployment of system enhancement and configuration changes.
    • Maintain platform documentation, governance standards, process maps, and solution designs.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve workflow efficiency and effectiveness.

Pay Transparency:

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$78,000.00 - $125,350.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
