Job description

Citi is looking for a Senior Manager to lead HR Business Execution across financial planning, workforce strategy, and technology investment - a role that sits at the intersection of operational rigor and strategic advisory within Citi's HR function. In this position, you will act as a trusted partner to the HR Leadership Team, translating financial and workforce data into actionable decisions that improve efficiency and drive outcomes at scale. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced operations leader who thrives in complex, matrixed environments and can bring clarity to ambiguous challenges.

Responsibilities Lead financial planning and workforce management for the HR function, including ownership of the Annual Operating Plan, quarterly financial forecasts, and the hiring request process through the Workforce Management Council. Act as a strategic advisor to the HR Leadership Team, translating complex financial and operational data into clear recommendations that support leadership decision-making. Oversee the annual Technology Investment review process for HR, evaluating proposed initiatives and quantifying return on investment in terms of resource efficiencies and operational impact.

Lead cross-HR initiatives related to financial and workforce strategy. Manage cross-functional administrative and operational duties, including financial reporting, headcount accuracy, real estate planning, and resource onboarding and offboarding. Deliver oversight of operational reporting processes, ensuring quality, consistency, and accuracy of outputs.

Assess risk in business decisions with a clear lens on compliance, controls, and ethical standards, ensuring issues are escalated and resolved with full transparency. Manage team of 5-6 direct reports in various global locations. Required Qualifications & Skills 10 or more years of experience operating in global, complex environments with multiple senior stakeholders across functions or geographies.

Demonstrated experience managing teams and delivering results in a financial services or similarly regulated industry. Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret financial and headcount data, build business cases, and communicate findings clearly to senior audiences. Track record of managing financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and profit and loss oversight.

Ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities without loss of quality or delivery pace. Clear and confident communicator, both in writing and in conversation, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of an organization. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
