Job Description

The Senior Consultant - Extended Workforceย Advisoryย is a consulting-led, client-facing role responsible for advising organizations on Extended Workforce strategy, operating model design, and program optimization.ย This role focuses on discovery, assessment, and future-state design rather than hands-on technology configuration or program execution.ย 

You will work with senior Procurement, HR, Talent, and IT leaders to assess existing Extended Workforce programs, define target operating models, and develop actionable roadmaps spanning governance, processes, technology, and change.ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

Client Advisory & Consultingย Deliveryย 

  • Support and lead client advisory engagements focused on Extended Workforce strategy and transformation.ย 

  • Apply QWA's consulting and design thinking methodologies to assess current-state programs and define future-state solutions.ย 

  • Design andย facilitateย on-site and virtual workshops with senior stakeholders toย validateย findings andย align onย direction.ย 

  • Prepare and present executive-level recommendations, insights, and decision materials.ย 

Extended Workforceย Strategy & Service Designย ย 

  • Assess MSP, services procurement, and Extended Workforce programs across governance, processes, and capabilities.ย 

  • Design future-state operating models including governance structures, RASCI models, and funding approaches.ย 

  • Identifyย opportunities to improve workforce visibility, compliance, cost management, and experience.ย 

  • Build clear roadmaps supporting program maturity and long-term scalability.ย 

Research, Analysis & Design Thinkingย 

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to assess current-state performance and market alignment.ย 

  • Create visual artifacts such as operating model diagrams, journey maps, architecture views, and roadmap materials.ย 

  • Stay current on Extended Workforce trends, technologies, and leading practices.ย 

  • Contribute to whitepapers, point-of-view content, and internal knowledge assets.ย 

Technology Enablement Advisoryย 

In partnership with the QWA project team and Solution Architect:ย 

  • Advise onย Extended Workforce technology ecosystems including VMS, analytics, AI, automation, and integrations.ย 

  • Recommend optimization of existing platforms or introduction of new tools aligned to businessย objectives.ย 

  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical specialists, translating requirements into clear direction.ย 

Practice Development & Growthย ย 

  • Contribute to the development of QWA intellectual property including methodologies, playbooks, and toolkits.ย 

  • Stay current on market trends, talent technology innovations, and leading practices.ย 

  • Identifyย opportunities to support clients throughย additionalย advisory services and program expansion.ย 

Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in Extended Workforce, MSP, services procurement, consulting, or related domainsย 

  • Demonstrated client-facing consulting experience delivering assessments and advisory engagementsย 

  • Experience with VMS platforms and Extended Workforce technologies preferredย 

  • Strong workshop facilitation and executive communication skillsย 

  • Bachelor's degreeย requiredย 

  • Willingness to travel up to 25%ย
