Job description

We are seeking a passionate automotive industry enthusiast to lead a team of data scientists & analysts responsible for providing insights and analytics for the Portfolio Planning organization with an understanding for the implications to the Stellantis business.
Responsibilities include:
  • Analyzing industry forecasts, segment growth trends, and economic indicators that influence the automotive industry.
  • Participating in scenario planning initiatives, understanding changing consumer behavior to determine potential implications &/or recommendations for Stellantis.
  • Providing support to monthly and annual governance discussions (product, commercial and industrial)
  • Publishing quarterly analysis of industry sales results mix/trend reports and other relevant reports for extended Stellantis
  • Departmental budgeting and management of licenses and relationships with vendors.

Candidate will participate in new product studies providing industry context, competitive analysis and customer insights for products as they advance through program approval gates. Candidate will work with local team(s), as well as those in other regions and centralized global functions.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Finance, Computer Science or related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of automotive analysis experience
  • A minimum of 10 years relevant work experience including a supervisory role
  • Training or experience in advance data analysis techniques
  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to take data and provide contextual meaning to findings
  • Identification of patterns, develop insights and implications and deliver data-driven alternatives
  • Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and produce executive-ready deliverables
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA preferred
  • Possess above average PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Access databases
  • Familiarity with SQL or R
  • Familiarity with Palantir
  • Familiarity with Economic Data and Tracking
