Job description

As a Tax Analyst, you play a critical role in ensuring our company maintains compliance with Federal, State, and Local tax regulations. You will collect and analyze tax data, prepare comprehensive tax workpapers, and support the preparation of tax returns across multiple jurisdictions. Your attention to detail, research skills, and organizational abilities will directly impact our tax filing accuracy and timeliness. You'll work collaboratively with accounting teams and various legal entities to maintain strong tax records and support our financial operations.

About therole

  • Coordinate with accounting teams and various legal entities to obtain, analyze, and prepare workpapers supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual Federal, State, and Local tax returns

  • Support the tax team by researching and collecting data related to tax questions as needed

  • Research and prepare responses to various tax notices

  • Assist the tax team with Federal, State, and Local tax audits as needed

  • Maintain the tax calendar for various Federal, State, and Local tax filings

  • Assist with the processing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax payments

  • Manage the corporate organizational structure chart

About You
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, tax, business administration, or economics

  • 1 year of comparable tax and accounting experience (tax and accounting internships will be considered based on performance)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with tax research tools such as Bloomberg BNA, Thomson Reuters Checkpoint, or CCH

  • Experience with tax accounting software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
