  • Mentor and coach editors through technical instruction, creative guidance, and hands-on collaboration to support professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with producers, videographers, and cross-functional stakeholders to interpret creative direction and deliver compelling visual stories that achieve business objectives.

Editorial Excellence & Workflow Improvement

  • Manage multiple concurrent editing projects while balancing priorities and consistently delivering high-quality work on schedule.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex creative and technical post-production challenges with minimal oversight.
  • Investigate and implement workflow improvements, editing standards, and process enhancements that increase efficiency, scalability, and consistency across the post-production team.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on post-production best practices and emerging editing technologies.

Quality Assurance

  • Audit final deliverables to ensure they meet technical specifications, creative intent, brand standards, and platform requirements.
  • Take ownership of maintaining the highest level of editorial quality across all assigned projects while helping raise quality expectations throughout the team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations.

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional video editing and post-production experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex, high-quality video content.
  • Portfolio or demo reel required. Applicants must provide a link to a portfolio, demo reel, or online work samples with their application. Work samples should demonstrate advanced video editing and post-production capabilities, including storytelling, pacing, color grading, motion graphics, compositing, visual effects, and audio mixing. Samples should reflect experience contributing to complex, high-visibility, commercial, branded, or similarly professional productions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced video editing, color correction and grading, compositing, visual effects, audio mixing, motion graphics, and post-production finishing workflows.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of post-production workflows, including media management, codecs, color pipelines, and delivery specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently make creative and technical decisions while aligning with brand standards and business objectives.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching editors while providing constructive, actionable feedback.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex creative and technical challenges with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience partnering with producers, videographers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining exceptional quality across all deliverables.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish best practices, improve workflows, and elevate editorial quality across a creative team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience improving post-production workflows and implementing process enhancements.
  • Experience producing content for e-commerce, digital marketing, or commercial advertising.
  • Knowledge of emerging video production technologies, AI-assisted editing tools, and evolving industry best practices.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, deadline-driven creative environment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Video Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications or specialized training in video editing, motion graphics, color grading, or post-production workflows are preferred.
