Job description

What you do:
You are responsible for supporting and assisting with technology improvements, process improvements, and project implementations. You will be accountable for supporting the translation of business needs into technical solutions that allow for continuous enhancements and improvements to the tools leveraged for investment decision making. You will report to the AIM VP - Investment Systems.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support to AIM for run and change activities, in partnership with other technical teams and stakeholders. Includes on-call support after hours as needed.
  • Support delivery of projects, solutions, and technical services aligned with business objectives. Duties may include: requirements gathering and translation, troubleshooting and fixing issues, programming and coding, system development and automation, data modeling, creation and execution of test plans, etc.
  • Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).

What you bring:
  • 2+ years of experience: Programming and software development/systems support. Preference for C# experience. Financial services knowledge and experience. Familiar with Waterfall and Agile project management approaches. Some experience with full stack development within a cloud environment, cloud infrastructure, database design, and/or Microsoft Azure.
  • Four year degree required: Mathematics, Finance, Information Technology or related field.
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.

Job posting range: $74,000 - $122,500
Note the job posting range is exclusive of company benefits or other compensation. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive program. If you are hired, your final base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, experience, skills, competencies, and/or education. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
