Our Automotive Business Unit is pursuing an expanding portfolio of OEM opportunities that demand dedicated technical expertise throughout the customer buying process. This role offers the opportunity to become the primary technical resource for automotive platform opportunities, working directly with leading OEMs to showcase our IoT capabilities and translate their requirements into implementable solutions. As our Senior Solutions Engineer, you'll eliminate the technical bottlenecks that currently constrain our automotive growth, enabling faster customer response times, more consistent technical engagements, and the ability to pursue multiple strategic opportunities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Technical Leadership
- Lead discovery sessions, demonstrations, technical presentations, workshops, and proof-of-concept activities that help OEM customers evaluate Aeris platform capabilities
- Develop strong relationships with customer technical teams while communicating complex platform capabilities clearly and credibly
Solution Design & Documentation
- Translate customer requirements into solution architectures, integration designs, technical proposals, and implementation guidance
- Ensure customer requirements are translated into implementable solutions while providing product feedback and supporting successful implementation handoffs
Technical Asset Development
- Create demonstrations, reusable technical collateral, reference architectures, and proposal materials that improve consistency and sales effectiveness
Qualifications
- Ability to lead customer-facing technical discussions with confidence
- Strong solution design and systems integration skills
- Experience creating technical proposals, demonstrations, and architecture documentation
- Ability to translate customer requirements into implementable technical solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience collaborating across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Delivery organizations

The salary range for this role is $140K-$165K base plus variable compensation. Aeris also offers a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
