Your mission:

Asthe Accounting Manager at Reliable Controls,you willbe responsible forleading the organization'sAccountingfunction, ensuringaccuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial informationto supportregulatorycompliance andbusiness decision making. You'llfocus onfull-cycle accounting across multiple entities,cash flowmanagementand costaccounting;withoversight ofrisk management and internal controls to ensure compliantaccounting and tax practices.


Reporting to the VP, Finance & Administration, you willwork closely with senior leadership, department managers, external consultants, and business partners toprovideactionable financial insights.This role offers the opportunity toinfluence business strategy, lead and develop a high-performing financedepartment, drive process improvements, and play a key role in supporting the organization's continued growth and success.

In this role you will:

  • Lead theAccounting team while overseeing full-cycle accounting across multiple entities.
  • Own the month-end close process, ensuring theaccurateandtimelydelivery of monthly financial reporting packages, andleadthe annual year-end review process.
  • Ensure compliance with ASPE, tax, payroll, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements whilemaintainingstrong internal controls and accounting practices.
  • Manage and continuously improve the company's cost and inventory accounting processes, including product costing, laborutilization, overhead allocation, and manufacturing variance analysis.
  • Partner with senior leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business planning that enables strategic decision-making.
  • Supportin the implementation and optimization of the Epicor ERP system, helping shape financial processes and drive operational improvements.
  • Identifyopportunities to improve accounting processes, implement new accounting standards, and support the adoption of new business systems as the organization evolves.
  • Build strong relationships across departments and with external accounting and tax partners to support informed business decisions.

This role might be right for you if you have:

  • CPA designation.
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, ora relateddiscipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally including public practice and manufacturing environments.
  • A strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory accounting, manufacturing operations, and key financial drivers.
  • A collaborative leadership style built on trust, accountability, and open communication, with experience empowering high-performing teams.

You'llbe successful in this position if you:

  • Have experience implementing,optimizing, or working with ERP systems, ideally Epicor, in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excel at financial analysis and problem-solving, using data to drive informed business decisions.

The full compensation band for this role is $94,000 - $144,000 CAD annually. Please note that the hiring range for this position is $108,000 - $119,000 CAD. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
