Job description

Sales Manager – Roseville, MN | Commercial Truck & Equipment Sales

If you are a commercial truck sales leader who wants to build something - not just manage it - Universal Truck Service is looking for a Sales Manager ready to make a measurable impact.

Who We Are

Universal Truck Service is a family-owned, three-generation commercial truck dealership and service company that has grown from a two-bay shop in New Brighton to a 68,000 sq ft flagship facility in Roseville since 2000. Universal Truck Service is an authorized dealer for Autocar, Hyundai Construction Equipment, and Vanguard/CIMC Trailers. As the company continues to grow, the Sales Manager at Universal Truck Service leads new truck, trailer, and equipment sales performance while developing the team and expanding market share.

Universal Truck Service was founded on the belief that great service and quality are not a thing of the past.

A Day in the Life

As Sales Manager at Universal Truck Service, no two days look exactly the same. You might start your morning reviewing the pipeline and sitting down with a rep for a deal review, then spend the afternoon meeting with a key fleet customer or working through inventory planning. You will align with OEM partners like Hyundai and Autocar, collaborate with service, parts, and finance leadership, and present sales performance updates to senior management. The Sales Manager at Universal Truck Service is both a strategic leader and a hands-on driver of results.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop the commercial truck and equipment sales team to hit volume, margin, and market share targets
  • Drive pipeline management, forecasting, and execution across all sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with fleet, vocational, and construction customers
  • Oversee new truck, trailer, and Hyundai equipment inventory ordering and allocation
  • Serve as primary point of contact for OEM partners including Autocar and Hyundai
  • Monitor sales metrics and conduct regular performance coaching and deal reviews
  • Partner with service, parts, finance, and leasing teams for seamless customer experiences
Schedule

Full-time. Office-based with regular field activity and occasional overnight travel within territory.

What You Bring
  • 5+ years of commercial truck, trailer, or equipment sales experience
  • Prior sales leadership or management experience strongly preferred
  • Strong CRM proficiency and financial acumen around pricing and margins
  • Confident, relationship-driven leadership style with a hands-on approach
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent industry experience preferred
  • CDL Class A or B preferred but not required
What You Get
  • Competitive base salary plus commission and bonus incentives
  • Medical, Dental, and Disability Insurance
  • 401K with company match
  • PTO and Paid Holidays
  • Promotion opportunities within a growing dealership
  • Solid company culture - birthday recognition, team BBQs, holiday events and more
  • Direct impact on the future growth of Universal Truck Service
