Recruiter - Mid Level with Security Clearance

BOAB Ventures

Job description

About BOAB Ventures BOAB Ventures is a boutique executive search and talent acquisition firm serving organizations across tech, defense, and national security. We handle everything from C-suite placements to RPO and fractional recruiting leadership, both domestically and internationally. The Role This is a mid-level recruiting seat with real ownership.

You'll run full-cycle searches across multiple functions and industries, including cleared and national security work, while learning executive search methodology from people who've been doing this a long time. We're not looking for someone who needs a playbook. We're looking for someone ready to write one.

What You'll Do You'll own a portfolio of concurrent searches from intake through offer acceptance, spanning individual contributor through senior-level roles. That means building sourcing strategies that go beyond posting and praying. Direct outreach, competitive intelligence, network development, and referral mining.

You'll screen candidates with substance, evaluating technical fit, cultural alignment, and long-term viability rather than just checking boxes. You'll run a clean, transparent pipeline and keep your ATS data tight. You'll partner directly with hiring managers and clients to calibrate on requirements, market conditions, and realistic timelines.

And you'll represent the firm in every interaction like your name is on the door. What You Bring U.S. Citizenship is non-negotiable.

You have 2 to 4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with an agency background strongly preferred. You've proven you can juggle multiple active searches without things falling through the cracks. Your communication skills are sharp, both written and verbal, with the confidence to engage candidates and stakeholders at every level.

You're self-managing, accountable, and direct. You own your desk, follow through without being chased, and surface problems before they become fires. Experience in defense, tech, or cleared staffing is a plus.

A genuine willingness to learn the national security space is a must. What's In It for You You'll get hands-on exposure to executive search and national security recruiting, not from the sidelines. You'll receive mentorship from senior professionals with deep cleared and defense industry experience.

You'll have full ownership of your searches. This is not a coordination role. There's a real path to growth and leadership at a firm that promotes on results, not tenure.
