Job description

Join a Team That Makes a Difference

At Senior Helpers of Maryville, we don't just fill shifts — we build the team of caregivers who show up for local seniors and families every single day. That starts with the people who find, vet, and welcome our caregivers in the first place. That's you.

We're looking for a Recruiting Coordinator / HR Generalist to own the full hiring pipeline for our territory — from the first application to the first day on the job. This is a high-impact, hands-on role for someone who thrives on staying organized, moving fast, and making great first impressions on behalf of our brand. You'll work out of our Maryville office as part of a team supporting recruiting and HR across multiple territories, so no two days look exactly the same.

Why Work for Senior Helpers?

  • Great Place to Work® Certified—91% of our employees say Senior Helpers is a great place to work. We understand that our employees are with us to keep our business running and moving forward.
  • Autonomy—We encourage our team members’ independence and believe in our team to complete their job duties without micromanaging
  • Task Variety—We provide an engaging workday that uses your various skill sets
  • Full-time, in-office role with a stable schedule
  • Be part of a growing, multi-territory team with real ownership over the candidate experience
  • Work directly with leadership — your recruiting decisions directly shape the quality of care our clients receive
  • A mission-driven culture where the work you do every day changes lives, one hire at a time

What Will Our Senior Helpers Recruiter Do?

  • Collaborate with their supervisor and department managers to determine hiring needs and develop hiring program.
  • Determine applicant qualifications by conducting pre-screen interviews of applicants and analyze responses, verify references, and compare qualifications to job requirements.
  • Create, post, and maintain job advertisements through the applicant tracking system (ATS) database.
  • Input complete applicant and employee information into the home care software and ATS.
  • Maintain database with accurate candidate contact information, qualifications; ensures all communication with candidate is documented.
  • Coordinate onboarding experience with the new hire; communicates recruitment process and orientation requirements.
  • Develop full cycle recruiting strategies to target and recruit candidates from a variety of sources using various techniques including third party job boards and industry events.
  • Track KPIs/metrics and utilizes the data to make decisions, remove certification requirement.
  • Represent company at internal and external job fairs, attend trade shows, conventions, job and career fairs, workshops and other company/client-sponsored events as necessary.

What We’re Looking For Our Recruiting Manager to Have:

  • Experience in recruiting, staffing, or HR — home care, healthcare, or another high-volume hiring environment is a strong plus
  • Comfort running a full-cycle process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, background/reference checks, and onboarding
  • Excellent communication skills and natural instinct for reading people — you know a great caregiver when you talk to one
  • Strong organizational skills; you can juggle multiple open reqs across territories without dropping the ball
  • Comfortable with virtual interview tools and applicant tracking / HR systems (Hireology experience a plus)
  • A genuine belief in the mission of helping seniors age in place with dignity
  • Experience with recruitment processes, best practices, ATS, and job board utilization
  • Success managing client relationships with a commitment to quality and results
  • Experience supporting customer needs with a high level of service
  • Success in a fast-paced recruiting environment, preferred
  • Ability to pass criminal background screen

Enjoy Our Job Benefits:

  • Health Insurance- BCBS Plans Offered
  • Dental Insurance
  • Vision Insurance
  • Paid Time Off
  • Life Insurance
  • Pay On Demand
  • Bonus structure
  • Varied Discount Programs
