A senior recruiter provides staffing solutions for businesses. As a senior recruiter, you will most likely work in a human resources (HR) department, developing recruitment strategies and assisting with the hiring process. You may also work independently or for a private recruiting agency, seeking to place qualified candidates with companies in need of those skills. You often work with little supervision, but the job still requires frequent communication with other members of the HR team and with clients. Your career will benefit from skills like negotiation, an intuition for recognizing talent, and experience in the HR field.
