In this pivotal leadership role, you will spearhead intricate engineering projects, steering them from inception to completion. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of guiding a focused team, ensuring that our initiatives align with strategic goals and client expectations. Leveraging your expertise, you will independently drive project success while consulting with senior leaders to navigate complex challenges. Key Responsibilities:- Formulate comprehensive project designs, define material specifics, and offer accurate cost forecasts.- Conduct detailed feasibility assessments and research initiatives to inform design strategy.- Validate that all engineering designs adhere to pertinent standards and codes, supervise fieldwork, and produce accurate as-built documentation.- Evaluate engineering reports for precision and regulatory adherence; synchronize project operations with external vendors, contractors, and internal teams to maintain timelines.- Oversee layout planning and utility specifications with contractors and vendors.- Provide critical review of consultancy work, ensuring adjustments and maintaining thorough documentation including technical manuals and vendor details.- Facilitate planning and operational assessments in pre-project phases, prepare project scope, and analyze bid submissions.- Regularly update management with progress reports, aid in contract management, and ensure installations align with specifications and financial constraints.- Monitor and manage project financials to ensure targets are met.Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with more than 5 years of relevant experience, or a comparable mix of education and expertise.- Familiarity with engineering principles in food processing is advantageous.- Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to apply engineering principles effectively.- Previous experience in project scheduling, coupled with skills in project management and contract administration.- Proficiency in engineering economics and design software, specifically AutoCAD.- A readiness to travel (up to 50%) to collaborate on projects across various locations.- Demonstrated expertise in fostering collaborative work environments and maintaining professionalism in fast-paced settings.- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities.
