What is the Opportunity?

RBC offers an exciting role as a Senior Manager, HR Process Analyst Payroll Modernization. In this role you will analyze requirements in business processes, through requirements documentation, elicitation, solutions identification, risk analysis and collaboration across teams. Applies extensive, in-depth knowledge, skills, and practices to perform complex assignments.

What will you do?

  • Lead and manage end-to-end process improvement opportunities, utilizing Lean Six Sigma, and other methodologies.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization.
  • Works closely with internal clients to define the business problem, issues and planned approach
  • Design and implement solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, mitigate operational risks and enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and monitor multiple simultaneous projects activities to prevent or minimize potential negative impacts
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements.
  • Design and deliver project progress update dashboards, outcomes, and impact to senior leadership

Must have:

  • Proficient in business process design and requirement gathering methodology and tools.
  • Experience in payroll related conversion or transformation programs
  • Effective written and verbal communication, active listening, and negotiation to manage diverse stakeholder expectations.
  • Attention to detail - meticulous documentation and version control.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to decompose problems, identify root causes, and evaluate solutions objectively.
  • Self-Motivation & Initiative: Ability to manage tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines independently.
  • Ability to effectively partner and influence HR leaders to align on actions to drive performance goals.
  • Skilled at preparing management reports and executive summaries that clearly convey statuses, actions, and decisions required to move the project forward.
  • Adaptable to shifting priorities and constraints. Ability to manage scope creep, propose workarounds, and balance stakeholder demands.

  • Understanding of project management fundamentals such as project lifecycles, timelines, risk management.
  • Familiarity with HR processes, tools and payroll related employment regulations and filings.
