Description
The Senior Manufacturing Methods Analyst is an advanced, organization-wide role responsible for leading Methods of Manufacturing (MoM) strategy, overseeing complex programs, and driving continuous improvement across the enterprise. This position serves as a technical and strategic authority on manufacturing methods, labor standards, and process design, while mentoring analysts and partnering with leadership to improve efficiency, scalability, and operational performance.
The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.
Essential Functions
  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT's Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission
  • Leads enterprise MoM strategy, ensuring consistency, scalability, and alignment with business objectives
  • Defines and enforces standards for routings, labor standards, work centers, and manufacturing data structures
  • Establishes governance and best practices for MoM development, maintenance, and change management
  • Owns MoM execution for complex and high impact NPI programs
  • Partners with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain during design and launch phases to ensure manufacturability and production readiness
  • Ensures stable, accurate MoMs and labor standards through pilot builds and production ramp up
  • Drives standardization of manufacturing methods across products, product families, and sites
  • Leads initiatives to improve labor standards accuracy, capacity modeling, and scheduling performance
  • Translates continuous improvement initiatives into updated MoMs and system data
  • Identifies systemic inefficiencies and leads cross functional improvements tied to methods and data accuracy
  • Mentors and develops Methods Analysts (I & II), providing technical guidance and coaching
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for manufacturing methods, labor standards, and ERP execution
  • Influences cross-functional teams without direct authority through expertise and data-driven insights
  • Partners with Operations and senior leadership to identify, prioritize, and execute efficiency and cost reduction initiatives
  • Supports strategic decisions related to capacity planning, make/buy analysis, and operational scalability
  • Provides clear analysis and recommendations using manufacturing data and performance metricss
  • Works safely at all time and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Expert knowledge of Methods of Manufacturing (MoM), including routings, labor standards, work centers, and manufacturing master data
  • Deep understanding of discrete manufacturing processes, production flow, and capacity constraints
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing execution data (Epicor or equivalent), including impacts to scheduling, costing, and planning
  • Strong understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI) lifecycle and manufacturing readiness requirements
  • Working knowledge of industrial engineering principles, work measurement, and labor standard development
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement, standardization, and process governance concepts
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate labor performance, identify inefficiencies, and drive data backed improvements
  • Effective mentorship and coaching skills for developing Methods Analysts and technical team members
  • Ability to manage complex workloads, competing priorities, and high impact programs simultaneously
  • Ability to lead through change and enforce standardization while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships
  • Ability to maintain high standards of data integrity, discipline, and operational accuracy at the enterprise level
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to effectively communicate with team members, suppliers, and management
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements
Education and Experience:
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering, Operations management, Systems Engineering, Business or Engineering Technology (Manufacturing focus)
  • 7+ years of experience in manufacturing methods, industrial engineering, or manufacturing systems
  • Deep expertise in ERP systems and manufacturing master data (Epicor preferred)
  • Proven experience leading complex programs and cross functional initiatives
  • Strong understanding of labor standards, process design, and production flow
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and influence capabilities

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position mentors Method Analyst staff and provides input to leadership regarding interviewing, hiring, and training employees; coaching and development; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Travel:
  • Up to 25% travel to supplier locations or between facilities may be required
  • Valid driver's license required
